Effective on the date of this memorandum, the project' management

responsibility for TMI-2 is transferred from Light Water Reactors Branch No. 4, DPM, to Operating Reactors Branch No. 4, DOR.
Because of the unique status of TMI-2, a discussion of previously outstanding issues is not included.
However, your attention is drawn to the i
recent Commission Order for Modification of License which suspends Facility Operating License No. DPR-73 (Enclosure 1).
The Order also requires maintenance of the facility in a shutdown condition in accordance with approved operating and contingency procedures.

By copy of this memorandum, DSS, Lessons Learned, Bulletins & Orders, Uaresolved Safety Issues, IE, ELD; ADM, Regulatory Files Public Information and Public Proceedings are being notified of the 4
