Additional Information Required for Application to Store Enriched Uranium Hexafluoride 1.
Please provide a better description of the torage area, including drawings of the site, the fenced storage areas, the warehouse, storage within the warehouse, roads and other use areas.
The di awings should be of a suitable scale to clearly define the boundaries of the site and the location (s) ehere the licensed material will be stored.
2.
Please provide a description, including a map, showing location (s) of activities on properties adjacent to yours.
3.
How will the cylinders be kept stationary on the railroad ties?
4.
What previsions exist to keep the cylinders off of the ground?
5.
Can the storage areas be flooded, and if so, what are the effects of flooding?
6.
What effect(s) would a tornado striking the pad have on the storage arrays?
Please include the impact of tornado missiles impacting the cylinders in your analysis.
7.
Are there any flanmable liquids on or off site that could inedvertently flow onto storage areas? If there are such fluids, please describe how you wilI keep them off of the storage areas.

Please reconcile this discrepancy.
- 11. Describe material handling procedures, including number of personnel to minimize handling accidents.
12.
How do you plan to nove the 48" cylinders which weigh up to 14 tons? Section 10 of your application t tes that a 6-ton ferklift will be used. Our contacts with the Gaseous Diffusion Plant staff indicated that the 48-inch cylinders are not commercially used for enriched uranium.
If you have no plans for such cylinders, we request that you delete this request from your application.
If a need develops, your license can be amended accordingly.
13.
Your emergency procedures indicate than an agent of the licensee would go from Washington, D.C. to the site in the event of an emergency.

15.
Please describe your procedures for shippino UF6 cylinders.
Describe the packaging to be used for shipment.
