Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-334 Reactor Vessel Overpressure Protection System Gentlemen:
In our December 14, 1978, submittal concerning upgrading of the Reactor Vessel Overpressure Protection System, we stated that the relief valves had been seismically qualified by testing. We wish to corrrect that submittal and to inform you that the relief valves were actually certified by seismic analysis. The Vendors analysis has been reviewed by the Duquesne Light Company Engineering Department and complies with the seismic design requirements of the Beaver Valley Power Station.
