On behalf cf the 14,000 members served by Vclley Rurcl Electric Cooperctive, I cm writing concerning the Nuclect Reguletery Commission's proposed two yecr deley berring the continued operction of the Three Mile is!cnd Unit One generating plent.

As you know the T.M.I. Unit One was off line for routine maintenance et the seme time of the T.M.l. Unit Two incident, and hcs remained out of service since that tirne in spite of the fcct thct T.M.I. Unit One has provided essential electric power wfthout evidence of he:crd for 4 yeces. Please note the differentiction between unit one and ursit two, which is criticci if the subject is to be evclucted cbjectively cnd prcctically.

The loss of economicci electric power from T.M.I. hcs directly resulted in on cdditionc!

cost of 2.3 millsAwh er nectly 10% of our ret =1 wholescle power cost. Obviously, the cost to our members cf =n ceditionc! two years celcy is enormous.
