Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Attached are three signed originals and 19 conformed copies of Amendment 31 to the Operating License Application for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1.
This Amendment addresses the balance of the power ascension tests listed in Mr. DeYoung's letter of August 8,1972.
Applicant also submits a completely revised Section 15 entitled " Technical Specifications".
There are also enclosed one signed copy and 20 conformed copies of the Certificate of Service of Amendment 31 on the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.

31 Applicant submits by this Amendment, in support of its request for an initial operating license at a reactor power level of 2535 MWt, change pages which include the balance of the power ascension tests listed in Mr. DeYoung's letter of August 8,1972, and information which serves to update the FSAR.
Also included in this Amendment is a completely revised Section 15 entitled
" Technical Specifications".
