Three Mile Island Nuclear Statica Unit 1 (DII-1)
Cperating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Yourletter of May 26, 1978 identified a concern that our May 8, 1978 application for amendment to Cperating License No. DPR-50 did not repre-sent a Class I License Amendment (as defined by 10 CFR 170.22). We believe that our May 8 request of applicatien for License Amendment is an unusual case which does not exactly meet the requirements of any of tne Amendment Classes found in 10 CFR 170.22.
Cn June 2,1978, Mr. R. Langel of my staff discussed the matter with Mrs.
Diggs and Mr. Zwetzig. Through these conversations, it was realized that Mr. Zwetzig considers our submittal of May 8,1978 to ecnstitute a Class II License Amendment as it does not exactly meet the requirements for a Class
- Amendment. Therefore, enclosed please find a check in the enount of $800.00. This check, ccmbined with Check No. 82018 (which accc=panied our May 8th submittal) yields the proper remittance for a Class II License Amendment.
