'Af (412) 471-4300 435 Sixth Avenue urgh, Pennsylvania September 11, 1979 United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region I 631 Park Avenue King of Prussia, Pennsylvania 19406 Atten tion : Mr. Boyce H. Grier, Director Subiect: Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-334 Response to IE Bulletin 79-14 (30 Day Report)

Dear Mr. Grier:

Supplementing our response of July 30, 1979 to IE Bulletin 79-14, we are transmitting herewith the balance of information as required for the 60 day report. The list indicates the method that was used or will be used to verify the seismic design input with the as-built condition. Also included on the attached list are the source data for the valve and valve operators for the remaining 20 percent of the seismi-cally analyzed problems which were left out of the 30 day report.

A review of the results of the as-built verification inspection performed by Duquesne Light Company was conducted by Stone & Webster. It was concluded by S&W that the results of the inspection serve to verify the validity of the "As-Built" piping isometrics.

We trust that the information submitted satisfies the requirements up to and including the 60 day report of IE Bulletin 79-14.

Very truly yours, C. N. Dunn Vice President, Operations cc: United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Inspection and Enforcement Division of Reactor Operations Inspection r149 074 Washington, D.C. 20555 7 9102 4 o a c-ca
