This letter supplements our formal reply to the subject inspection report.
It is our opinion that nothing in this letter is prcprietary.in nature.
We wish to supplement the Corrective Action to be Taken to Avoid Further Noncompliance portion of the reply to Item la as follows:
Procedures SU. ACP.02, Preparation of Flushing Procedures, and SU. ACP.03, Conduct of Flushing, are being modified to transfer responsibility for verification of boundary valve position and tagging from the General Engineering Department QA&S Section to the Electric Production Department QC Group.
This change will vest responsibility for the entire flushing program within one department, j
The Electric Production Department Quality Engineer will establish witness points on the initial valve line-up in the " official" copy of flushing procedures which have not been started, and, as appropriate on documented deviations to flushing procedures, The QA&S Section will perform audits to assure that these commitments are fulfilled, g
