Dear Mr. MacDonald:
As stated in Reference 1, Exxon Nuclear provided a request (Reference 2) to continue as a user of the subject transportation package.
In addition to Reference 2 and because of the lead time required to obtain IAEA 5
Certificate of Competent Authority and associated re-validation in Europe, Exxon Nuclear requests an extension of the U. S. NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9022 due to expire October 31, 1979. To permit timely review and approval by the various licensing authorities, the extension l
is needed the early part of September.
i Enclosed is a check for $150 for the licensing action requested above.
l The licensing fee enclosed was determined to be that specified for administrative amendments in subparagraph 11 of 10 CFR 170.31.
