This is in response to your letter dated August 21, 1979 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, access to docu-ments concerning the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Perry, Ohio.
The documents listed in Avidix A are enclosed.
In a September 10, 1979 telephone conversation, Ms. Ellen Whitlow of my staff advised you that the cost of reproducing documents is ten cents
($0.10) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(b).
Accordingly, the cost of reproducing the enclosed 121 pages is $12.10.
Please send a check made payable to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the amount of $12.10, along with a copy of this letter, to the Director, Division of Rules and Records, Room MNBB 4210, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington. DC 20555.
For your information, dccument 6 of Appendix A refers to a report prepared by Gilbert Associates, "Embedment Evaluation Report, No. 2001" dated 12/1/78.
NRC staff has been unable to locate this report in their files and suggests that you write directly to Gilbert Associates if you desire a copy.
NRC staff has also informed me that there are no documents regarding items 3, 4, and 5 of your request: the revocation or suspension of the construction permit; the backfitting of the Perry Plant; and the addition, elimination, or modification of structures, systems, or components at the Perry Plant.
