This letter is a final report of the item reported to you by telephone on May 9 and June 20 and reported to you in writing by Public Service Company of Indiana on June 26 and July 6, 1979, concerning qualification of welders by Cherne Contracting Corporation.
Our July 6, 1979, correspondence provided the qualification status of all but four (4) welders who were to be qualified by bend test to Cherne Welding Procedure 101LO21-2.25 in order to extend their thickness qualifications to unlimited.
Two (2) of these four (4) welders were requalified by bend test to Cherne Welding Procedure 101B021-2.25 by July 20, 1979. Prior to this requalifica-tion they were assigned welding on nonsafety-related work only.
