We, the undersigned citizens of Pennsylvania are outraged that you are meeting with Gpu officials on June 11,1979 to discuss the projected start-up of tne TmI Reactor I in late i
l August.
We are venemently opposed to the opening of Reactor I at T21I at any time in tne forseeable future. We appeal to you as a man of conscience to consider the dele terious naaltn ef f ects ( emotional, physical and mental) wnich will undeniably result from the opening of Reactor I and to delay even the discussion with GPU officials about the opening until the recommendations of the President's Commission on Three Mile Island and other groups studying TMI are known and af firmative action is taken on the recommendations.
Your cooperation in this most serious matter will be sincerely appreciated.
