INFORMATION GATHERING ON THREE MILE ISLAND We are attempting to reconstruct NRC actions and decisions during the Three Mile Island emergency on a timeline basis. Much of the information needed is provided on tape recordings of teiephone calls to and from the NRC Opera-tions Center.

However, we understand that not all of the calls at the Opera-tions Center were recorded.

It is important that we gather all other infor-

tration available from NRC operations at the Operations Center and at other locations, particularly the site.

We have seen a collection of logs at the Operations Center which have been gathered together by the IE staff and understand that these are being fed into the TERA document control system.

We are not aware of any overall listing of the logs available.

Therefore, we recuest that you provide a listing and brief description of all the TMI emergency response logs in your possession.

This list'. g should identify which of the logs have been or will be turned over to the TERA system.

If any logs will not be turned over, we will need access to them promptly.

In your response please identify a custodian for the original of each log.

Please provide the listing of your logs with the other infomation requested to Robert M. Bernero, Room AR-409 at Arlington Road, by July 2,1979.
