Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Company Docket No. 50-237 Docket No. 50-249 Based on the inspection conducted on August 28-31, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below. This item is an infraction.
Technical Specification 6.2.4.7 requires the preparation, approval, and adherence to detailed written procedures zor surveillance and testing requirements. Surveillance requirement 4.8.C requires the quarterly calibration of the Units 2/3 liquid effluent radiation monitor.
Contrary to the above, an unapproved procedure was used to calibrate the Units 2/3 liquid effluent radiation monitor in the first and second quarters of 1979.
