Three Mile Island :Tuclear Station, Unit 2 (DE-2)
License No. DPR-73 Docket io. 50-320 EPICOR II Readiness As requested by the NRC Crder of Cetoter lo,1979, this letter is being submitted prior to operation of the EPICCR II System, to address the readiness of the system in processing intermediate level vaste water from DE-2.
Currently, all procedures required for the operation of EPICOR II have teen submitted to the NRC, and their comments have been incorporated into these procedures.
In addition, the EPICCR II N tem has been designed and constructed in accordance with NRC Regulatory Guides addressed in the NRC Environmental Assessment "Use of EPICCR II at SE-2" of August lb, 1979, Section 3.6.
Finally, suitable tankage at SII-l shall te maintained to store vaste water from DE-2 should additional storage capacity become necessary.
