Dear Mr. Meyers:
I have no problem with the suggestion in your May 11, 1979, memorandum that future Department of Energy (DOE) briefings to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regarding your nuclear waste isolation program be scheduled on an individual basis. Scheduling can be coordinated through Ms. Madonna Krug of my staff. The allowance of additional time between the NRC/ DOE meetings should allow us to provide interested parties and individuals on our meeting notice distribution list with earlier advance notification of meeting schedules and agendas.
