Dear Mr. Engelken:
In response to your letter of March 12, 1979, which trans-mitted the subject IE Bulletin, the District has taken the following actions:
1.
Checked construction and operational records, Receiving Inspection Data Reports, and Certifications.
2.
Checked Piping Design Specifications for applicable description of pipe.
3.
Checked Line Designation Specifications for applicable description of pipe.
4.
Checked construction files for pipe bought from Babcock
& Wilcox and other suppliers of spool pieces Based on the above, it is concluded that no welded SA-312 Type 304 stainless steel piping was used in the construction phase of Rancho Seco and none has been used during the operational phase.
