The Sacramento Municipal Utilii.y District responded to IE Bulletin No.79-05C on August 27, 1979.
In that response, we con::nitted to provide further analysis covering a range of time lapses between reactor trip and pump trip to support the early reactor coolant pump tri p.
The Babcock & Wilcox Company has perfc9eed this analysis and the District has detemined this analysis to be applicable to Rancho Seco Unit 1.
The report, " Supplemental Small Break Analysis" is enclosed.
Item 4 of IE Bulletin 79-05C required emergency procedure revision and licensed reactor operator training based on the guidelines developed under the analysis to support an early reim. tor coolant ptsap trip. We wish to infom you at this time that the tvquired procedure revision and operator training was completed as requested.
