NRC STAFF'S SECOND SET OF INTERROGATORIES
'*'p' C 'yd' TO TEXAS PUBLIC INTEREST RESEARCH GROUP Pursuant to 10 CFR 82.740b, the NRC Staff propounds the following interrogatories to the Texas Public Interest Research Group.
1.
In response to question 1 in the Staff's first set of interrogatories to TEXPIRG, you stated that your definition of " solid waste" included " household waste," "comercial waste," o_r_ " residential waste." For each catec ry of waste wnich you allege should be included in the term " solid waste," provide the following:
(a) the number of tons per day of waste which would be available as inout to the conversion plant for each year through 1985, and (b) the heat content in BTU /lb., of the waste al collected.
Identify and provide any calculations, studies or analyses which you performed or relied upon in reaching tne above answers.
If the source of the res::onse was a person, provide his or her name and address, and a statement of his or her professiona' qualifications.

In answer to question 2 in the Staff's first set of Interrogatories to TEXPIRG, you stated the precise area from which waste would be collected was "slightly larger than the city of Houston." Specifically identify the locations other than Houston which are included in the "slightly larger" area.
3.
What is the population of the total area from which waste would be collected.
Provide this population data for the present year and as estimates through 1985.
Identify and provide any calculations, studies or analyses which you performed or relied upon in reaching the above answers.
If the source of the response was a person, provide his or her name and address, and a statement of his or her professional qualifications.
4 In response to question ~ 2 in the Staff's first set of int.rrogatories to TEXPIRG, you stated that the " average waste produced per perw n is 4 pounds per day," and that this data would " remain the same until 1985." Identify and provide any calculations, studies or analyses which you performed or relied upon in reaching these answers.
