NRC STAFF'S REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO MOTION OF CCRI On Jul'y 13, 1979, Concerned Citizens of Rhode Island, et al. (CCRI) filed a motion requesting this Board to require the NRC Staff to reconsider the acceptability of the application for the captioned facility.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.730 and 2.710 Ine Staff's answer would be due not later than July 30.

The undersigned is the at orney presently assigned to this case. He has been heavily engaged in responding to and filing discovery motions in the Susquehanna proceeding since the CCRI motion was filed. He also has long-standing plans to be on vacation with his family on July 21 through 29.

Therefore, the Staff requests an extension of time until August 6,1979 to respond to the Motion of CCRI.

The undersigned is authorized to state that CCRI and the Applicants do not object to the granting of the requested extension of time.
