Dear Senator Danforth:
N Enclosed please find a copy of a letter to Dr. Hendrie of the Nucle e Regulatory Commission. It is an inquiry about a chemical operation associated with a nuclear power plant. The chelating agents used to clean up these cooling syste=s may be a vehicle for aiding in the spread of the radioactive isotopes into the environ =ent. I as t ying to obtain this information for myself and others interested in evalu-ating the hazards and precautions used in such operations. Sincerely yours, __=w Leonard J.
