On August 15, 1979, I attanded a meeting with Mika Morrell of GPU to witness a mockup demonstration for the THI-2 cone =innant building renoto access and i
surveillance procedura (1-626) by Z&W at Lynchburg, VA.
A spara penatration R-626 at 358' 6" clavation will be bored (9" diamatar) using the sama boring operation utilised for containment building vatar sampling procedura (4" dinastar). Following the completion of the boring operation, the cou mineent building romote surveillance will be accomplished r

and procedural briefings and they did not perform a complete step by step procedurni mocxup test. I, beliava, therefore, a completa mockup and step by step procedural demonstration on boring operating, mounting of a giova box assembly between penetration R-626 and fuel hanatiar building penatration R-1551, and surveillance procaduras abould be performed at the THI-2 sita prior to aHng the actual penetration.
