SUBJECT:
SECTION C ORGANIZATION AND ASSIGNMENTS I have recently reorganized Section C into two groups as shown on Enclosure 1.
The Group Leaders are assigned to assist rm in coordinating the work effort and is assuring consistent work products.
Current assignments are made for technical issues and for plant evaluations as shown on Enclosures 2 and 3.
I have dropped all assignments for Quality Assurance for Operating Reactors because this type of work is being sent to the Quality Assurance Branch by the Operating Reactor Project Manager.
Note that several of these individuals have been assigned responsibility as Group Leader (GL), Team Leader (TL), and Task Manager (TM).
I request your authorization to delegate to each of these individuals approve and forward those documents related to their assignments that do not involve new policy issues. Such action should improve the productivity of the Branch, develop the management capability of the staff and recognize the significant contribution of the individuals so designated.
