Haddam Neck Plant Small Break LOCA Analyses 1
By Reference (1), Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) was re-quested to provide additional information regarding small break LOCA analyses.
Accordingly, Reference (2) was provided in accordance with the scope and schedule agreed upon with the NRC Staff.
4 CYAPCO's review to date of Reference (2) has determined that the docketed i
analyses adequately reflect the general system behavior of the Haddam Neck Plant.
Because of some of the unique features and characteristics d
of the Haddam Neck Plant, additional ef forts are underway to substantiate the degree of applicability of the more specific analytical scenarios. CYAPCO's current assessment is that these additional efforts will demonstrate the applicability of the substantive conclusions presented in Reference (2).
