July 30, 1979 letter from C. Reed to H. R. Denton.
Dear Dr. Denton:
Reference (a) provided the NRC Staff with a schedule for responding to the various staff issues and concerns associated with purging and venting at Zion Station.
Specifically, Reference (a) indicated that an analysis of 10" vent valve closure capability under accident conditions would be submitted by August 31, 1979.
Due to unforeseen delays in the preparation of these tests, this analysis will not be available until mid-September.
Commonwealth Edison Company will expedite this analysis to the NRC Staff as soon as it becomes available.
Please address any additional questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
