S'N 1107/70-1151 The following report is issued in cunpliance with 10 CFR 40.65 and 10 CFR

70. 59 " Effluent Ibnitoring Requirerents." For the si>: nonth period January 1, 1979 through June 30, 1979, the following gaantities of radionuclides were released to the unrestricted areas by the Westinghouse Electric Corpo-ration's Columbia (S.C.) plant:

A.

Gaseous Effluent 1040 uCi Uranium (analyzed as gross alpha)

B.

Liquid Effluent 86,213 uCi - U234 4,258 uCi - U235 17.275 uCi - U238 Caseous results were obtained from point source analysis of stack gas effluent, and the individual radionuclide canposition can be assumed to average the sane as the liquid (80.01 U234, 4.O s U235,16.0L U238). Licuid values were obtained by cm. positing proportional sagles prior to discharge to the Congaree River.
