Clay, This is to inform the NRC that on September 4, 2019, a joint team, led by FEMA will conduct a Preliminary Capabilities Assessment (PCA) within the 10 mile Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) of the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.

The review of available information gathered from discussions with the OROs, will help FEMA determine that offsite radiological emergency preparedness (EP) remains adequate to provide Reasonable Assurance and that appropriate measures can be taken to protect the health and safety of the public in a radiological emergency at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.
