Dear Sir:
The following information clarifies our supplementary response of June 25, 1979, to your IE Bulletin 79-06A, Revision 1:
Bulletin Item 2 On Page 2, Section c of the PCE response in the fifth line, the werd " relieving" should be replaced by the word " retaining".
Bulletin Item 7.b On Page 6, the third sentence of the second paragraph of the PCE response should be replaced with the following sentence:
"Therefore, Plant procedures have been revised to permit termi-narion of the llPI pumps after 50 degrees subcooling has been achieved (by maintaining RCS pressure above the saturation limit as shown on Figure 3.2, Attachment 2) prior to 20 min only if it has been determined that continued operation would result in an unsafe Plant condition".
Bulletin Item 8 On Page 9, the Auxiliary Feedwater System should be add'i to the list of ESP Systems that were checked. The FSAR figure reference 3013G8 7009010<0 R 7

On Page 10, the following sentence should be added to the PCE response:
"If the locked valve list is not main-tained in Modes 5 and 6, a physical verification of the locked valve posit ions is perf ormed".
