This office has been appointed Special Counsel to the New Jersey Department of Energy in reference to an Application of the Jersey Central Power & Light Company for an emergency rate increase before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Co.amissioners stermning from the 'reactorincident at Three-Mile Island near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In preparing this matter we find that we need the following documents:
Any and all Regulatory Guides - relating a.
to nuclear reactor safety which would be applicable to the reactor and facility at Three-Mile Island, Pennsylvania.
b.
A copy of the Statutory Report to the Congress on abnormal occurrences relating to the Threc-Mile Island incident.
Copies of Transcripts of NRC investigatory c.
proceedings relating to the Three-Mile Island incident.
