{{#Wiki_filter:- SPECIAL REPORT NO 28 1979 Inservice Inspection No 6 Big Rock Point Plant Inservice Inspection No 6 was conducted during the period February 2, 1979 through April 13, 1979. Inspections were conducted in accordance with Section 9.0 of the Big Rock Point Technical Specifications and the rules of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section XI as follows: Item Examination Acceptance Class 1 71W72 71W72 High Energy 71W72 71W72 RDS 74 74 Areas examined during this inspection included various components of the reactor pressure vessel, portions of the nuclear steam supply system and portions of various support systems piping as itemized in Table 2. The examinations were performed using ultrasonic (UT), radiographic (RT), liquid penetrant (PT) and visual (VT) techniques. The various examinations were conducted in accordance with Consumers Power Company Systems Protection and Laboratory Services (SP&LS) or vendor (Southwest Research Institute - SwRI) approved procedures. Examinations were performed by inspection personnel qualified in the NDT process utilized in accorcance with the equirements of Paragraph IS-203, Section XI of the 1971 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Instances of reportable indications are itemized in Table 1.
