REQUEST FOR ACTION UNDER 10 CFR 2.206 Notice is hereby given that by petitions dated April 27, and May 16, 1979, Dr. Chauncey Kepford, on 'ehalf of the Environmental Coalition on Nuclear Power requested that the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation institute public hearings on the accident at Three Mile Island, Unit No. 2, and grant other relief. These petitions are being treated as a request for action under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's regulations, and accordingly, action will be taken on the petition within a reasonable time.
Copies of the petitions are available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street. N. W., Washington, D. C.
20555 and in the local public document room at Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsyl rania, Box 1601 (Education Buildir.g), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17126.
