-,j The IE/Three Mile Island resident inspection office is doing addi-tional dose assessments beyond the period of the IE investigation.

In this

an exposure of between 4 and 19 Rem to the same area of skin on his head i

during the second calendar quarter of 1979. The expo::ure resulted from

  • 3 skin contamination which was deposited during the early part of the acci-2 dent and was not removed for a period of time. The licensee restricted individual B from further occupational exposure during the second quarter of 1979.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has been informed of the exposure.
