Mr. Eastvedt is the Chief Engineering Economics Engineer at Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and has assisted the NRC Staff in its. review of alternative sites. His testimony on Bulk Transmission System Requirements Associated with Alternative Sites for the Skagit Nuclear Generating Facilities has been included as Appendix B in the Staff's Alternative Site Comparison testimony which was pre-filed on July 2,1979.

PERSONAL RESUME Robert B. Eastvedt As Chief Engineering Economics Engineer at Bonneville Power
' Administration (BPA), I play a primary role in the Ad=inistration's efforts to provide the =ost cost-effective and reliable power syste= possible.
I serve as expert adviser to power system planners in the Division of Engineering and Constniction, Area Offices, and other Divisions. This includes evaluation of alternative transmission systems wnich typically involve 20- te 30-year planning horizons. I also provide guidaroe to State and Pederal agencies regarding such thirga as trans ission and -
generation systems.
Since 1955, I have been involved in planning the EPA system.
Positions held in that capacity include, Economic Studies Engneer, Head of Syste=s Evalurtion, Assistwit Chief of the Branch of System Engineering and Grid Evaluation Engineer.
Prc= 1949 to 1958, I was District Supervisor for Eeter-Relay Eaintenance.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree fron the University of California in 1949. I am a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Washington.
