DB-1 iFW SYSTEM VALVE MALFUNCTION JULY 4, 1979 To follow-up your discussion with T. Novak on July 6,1979, we understand that IE will pursue the licensee's evaluation of the AP4 valve failure which took place on July 4,1979.
In particular, IE should follow the licensee's investigation of the failed valve motor and associated circuitry, and should determine the need for further study and corrective action.
