Areas Inspected:
Announced inspection and surveillance of the security measures afforded an export shipment of SNM.
Specific areas included:
pre-shipment planning and notification, examination of shipping containers, tamper-safe seals, shipping documents and records, shipment monitoring during transfers, and wiiile in transit, communications tests, and, procedures and instructions to guards and drivers.
The inspection involved 52 inspector-hours by 2 NRC inspectors.
Results:
Of the 7 areas examined, no items of noncompliance were identified.
