Inspection coverage from 6:00 Ari to 6:30 PM - Conducted control room surveillance; with SMUD management, accompanied Congressman Shumway on tour of plant; reviewed procedures issued pursuant to IEB 79-05A.

Con-tinued review of changes made to containment isolation valves.

STATUS OF INSPECTOR DISCUSSIONS WITH PLANT PERSONNEL:

Completed.

Discussions with the last two licensed operators conducted 4/18/79.

100% power, no known problems, no significant surveillance scheduled, no j

ESF Systems out of service; a one-day outage is scheduled for 5/12/79 l
