This is in reference to your application requesting amendment of your tiRC I.icense !:o. 24-12127-03, to include tritium and carcon-14 So that we nay continut our review, please supply the following additional infor=ation.
1.
Your application should include your program for laboratory surveys. This should include the following:
A, Type of survey (pref erably wipes).
E.
Frequency of survey (weekly, or s.ter procedures if sporadic use is anticipated).
C.
Lecontamination level, i.e.,
level of activity on wipes at which area will.,be cleaned. This should be approximately 100-200 dpe/100 cm' wiped.
2.
Please describe your cethod of handJing waste, i.e.,
disposal into sewer system, transfer to waste disposal company, etc.
3.
Picase describe your method of handling packages containing radio-active material. These should be handled so that any Icakage or contamination does not contanicate the worker or the area.
4.
Please submit a copy of your general laboratory safety procedures for laboratories using loose saterial.
