SUBJECT:
CALVERT CLIFFS - FIRE PROTECTION EVALUATION Our DSER for the subject evaluation was sent to you on May 15, it)79; it identified 47 requirements to rasolve open issues.
The licensees letter, dated April 19, 1979, addresses 14 of these open issues; however, we do not have a written response for the other 33 open issues.
To expeditiously complete this evaluation we would like a written response to the remaining open issues that are not being appealed by July 10, 1979.
The licensee should also identify any positions he intends to apoeal by July 6,1979. An appeal meeting should be sent up during the week of July 16,1979.
If we receive a complete response to the unresolved issues by the above dates, that is acceptable, and the appealed positions are resolved by July 20, 1979, we will have our SER ready for final typing in CRESS by August 3, 1979. Assuming the PM needs 6 weeks to issue, the projected issue date for the SER is Septeuber 14, 1979.
