This is in response to your letter of June 14, 1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, infon-ation regarding the nun.ber, purpose, and cost of consultants hired by the I;RC.
The I:RC does engage the services of consultants by special conte acts.
These contracts are available for public inspection and copying at $0.08 per page at the NRC Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, it.W., Washington, DC.
T'ames, occupational discipline, enployment period, initiator, authorizer of consultant contracts, and other infore:ation which you have specifically requested are contained in the contracts.
Pursuant to a telephone conversation of July 18, 1979 with Jacob Zamansky of my staff, you have agreed to limit the scop 1 of your request to the contract files located in the NRC Public Document Room.
