Dear Mr. Hiller:
Enclosed are the NRC Staff's written interrogatories to CEE.
In preparing these interrogatories, the NRC Staff was mindful of the Applicant's interrog-atories dated March 27, 1979 submitte ~ to you and, so as not to unnecessarily burden CEE, has not duplicated any or those interrogatories or inqu red on the same subject matter.
The Staff, however, would have submitted interrogatires similar to those of the Applicant, had the Applicant not done so, and may, after review of CEE's responses to the interrogatories, file follow-up interrogatories in the second round of discovery provided for in the Licens-ing Board's Order dated March 21, 1978. Accordingly, I remind you that the Commission's regulations,10 CFR 82.740(b) provides that answers to interrog-atories shall be served epon all parties to the proceeding.
