I am somewhat late in expressing our appreciation, but we have been very preoccupied with the Three Mile Island accident the lost two months.

Al ttough we have reviewed many SSN designs over the past several years, many of us had not had the benefit of a tour of a nuclear submarine.

The visit increased our appreciation and understanding of submarine propulsion systems and their military applications.

I realize that the tour, coming perhaps at an inconvuient time, placed an additional burden on your vary tight schedule.
