On behalf of Commissioner Bradford, Harold Denton, and myself, I want to thank you for all your efforts in arranging our very informative and enjoyable tour of the FLYING FISH and cruise on the NIMITZ last March 25-26.
I hope you will understand that the events from March 28 on, involving the Three Mile Island accident, have so commanded our attention that we are quite tardy in expressing our appreciation.
I do want to assure you that every member of the group really appreciated the opportunity to observe first hand the important application of nuc. lear propulsion to military vessels.
