We greatly appreciate and commend your help in expediting the reviews of these State emergency plans.
We are also doing the same thing.
We have contacted all States with operating reactors or States contiguous to tht.se States where nuclear facilities are located near common borders encouraging them to develop their plans to meet the guidelines promulgated by NRC and other Federal agencies.
We have also offered these States our assistance in upgrading their plans.
He will keep in touch aith your office on these matters.
Our Office of State Programs bill continue to work closely with your agency through the
.isting 10 Federal Interagency Regional Advisory Committees set up for this specific purpose, and at,the headquarters level as well.
