Dear Sir:
In accordance with 10 CFR 70.33 Pacific Gas and Electric Company hereby requests the Commission to renew Materials Licenses Nos. SNM-1503 and SNM-1667 ex-tending the expiration dates to October 31, 1979 and February 29, 1980, respectively.
Renewal of these licenses is necessary because of additional time re-quired to complete the remainder of the licensing pro-cess for the Diablo Canyon Units.
The dates selected are designed to take into account the licensing delays which may result from' the accident at Three Mile Island.
