Request for Additional Information 1.
In part 1, the responsibilities assigned to " packers oni shippers" are often assigned to radiographers. Please review that last paragraph of part 1 and clarify that the persons performing the indicated tasks are appropriately trained and certified.

In part 2, please indicate who (by title) is responsible to assure that all radioactive material shipping packages are designed and manufactured under a QA Program approved by Nuclear Regulatory Commission for all packages designed or fabricated after the effective date of the QA Program. Note that this requirement can be satisfied by receiving a certification to tnis effect from tbc manufacturer.

In part 4, indicate what personnel (by title) perform the critical handling, storage, and shipping operations.
