This is in partial respor.se to your letter dated June 22,19/9, in which you recp.ested, purannt to the Fr cedom of Inforination Act, access to all information submitted to the Nuclear Pogulatory Conmissien (flRC) concerning or related to the construction or operation of the nuclear genorating facility at Marble liill nor Madisen, Indiana.

The liRC has established an NRC local Public Document Room (l.f cR) in the t'idiscn-Jef ferson County Public Library, 4201lest Main Street, nadison, Indiana. Attachment 1 is a listing of the categories of inforration which is on file in the LPDR.

The purpose of the LPDR is to provide access to all publically available agency records relating to the Marble Hill facility to inter ested persons who live in the vicinity of the facility.

All records in the LPDR are availablo for inspection and copying. An appointrent can be rade with Mrs. Peters (812/265-2745) at the LPDR who can provide assistance to you in locating the docuntnts you are seeking.

Any additional records subject to your request which can be disclosed to the public uill also be placed in the LPDR.

You will be advised of ;ny records denied and the basis for the denial.
