This letter serves to document the conversation on June 4.1979, between Mr. Patenaude and Mr. J. Philip Stohr of this office.

As arranged at that time, several members of the Region I staff are planning to meet with the Board during the later portion of the week beginning June 10, 1979. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss developments, since our previous meetings, concarning the privately owned landfill in Norton where radio-active material was found during our surveys conducted in October thru December 1978.

Since exact date and time were not spec.fied, I would like to suggest June 14,1979 at 1:00 p.m.

Hopefully, at this time, we will have available the analytical results of the recent water samples obtained by Mr. George Swibble of the Massachusetts Bureau of Radiation Control Programs and Mr. David Opatka of the Town of Norton.

Should you desire any change in this arrangement, please contact Mr. Stohr at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely, 52
