Dear Mr. Gradle:
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, I am taking this opportunity to express my appreciation for the all-out effort by AT&T in coordinating the installation of our Emergency Communications System for reactor and fuel facility sites.
I believe this effort was a model of industry / government cooperation.
Our objective, a dedicated system for immediate notification of nuclea.r incidents and continuous emergency comr.;unications, was reached one month ahead of schedule.
I will also appreciate your conveying our thanks to the appropriate Bell System and independent telephone com anies for a job well done.
Sincerely, y' C
