OF FIC,E OF THE June 21, 1979 C H A I P t.1 A N Mrs. Ronald J. Cook 204 Chesterfield Court flidland, liichigan 48640

Dear l'rs. Cook:

I am very appreciative of your most thoughtful and constructive letter of June 11, 1979.

Let ne assure you that the comments you have made will receive ny personal and prompt attention.

As you know, the ilRC Resident Inspecter Prograni is still relatively new and yours is our initial first-hand account of the social, psychological and financial adjustnents that face Resident Inspectors and their families as the program expands.

Our eventual aim is to have an Inspector at all operating plants, so your comments and observations are extrenely valuable.

I have instituted an inquiry into those aspects of the progran with particular enphasis on the ways that the agency can alleviate the difficulties you and your family have encountered.

When that reviev is completed, I will be back in touch uith you with a report on what we are doing and how we are doing it.

Let me Liiank you again for writing directly to ne, and for giving me the benefit of your insight into an er.tremely inportant f1RC program.

Sincerely, t

.\\}'M M 2 Cukwr
