Dear Mr. Engelken:
The information on the Trojan reactor vessel weld materials requested by IE Bulletins 78-12, -12A and -12B has been provided in the Chicago Bridge and Iron generic report forwarded to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on April 24, 1979. Part 2 of that report contains the data for the Troj'n reactor vessel.
Item 4 of IE Bulletin 78-12 requested a report on available archive material.
Chicago Bridge and Iron presently has no archive material from the Trojan reactor vessel. Westinghouse has one full thickness weldment (Trojan) made up of weld wire from Heat No. 53986 and Linde Flux 124 from Lot No. 934.
This letter concludes our reporni.e required by the IE Bulletins above by documenting that the Trojan reactor vessel is covered in the Chicago Bridge and Iron report.
